Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the top edge tends more towards red in the original work.
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. A scratch (approximately 3 cm) - located 4 cm from the upper edge and 4.5 cm from the left edge - that has been carefully restored, is visible under close inspection. A pinhead sized indent - located 2 cm from the upper edge and 50 cm from the left edge and few original superficial cracks located mainly on the black impastos are only visible under close inspection.
Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching.
This work is in very good condition.
