Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the image does not convey the richness of the impastos and the contrasts between the bright and mat surfaces. The work is executed on its original canvas, not relined. Minor traces of wear located along each of the edges are visible only under very close inspection. Under UV light there is no evidence of any retouching. This work is in excellent condition.
