Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration compared to the original. The work is executed on its original canvas, not relined. Due to the artist's process, few thin cracks are visible only under close inspection. There are mainly located in the black impastos. Two minor paint detachments are visible only under close inspection : one located 12,5 cm from the upper edge and 16 cm from the left edge; the other one located 6 cm from the lower edge and 43 cm from the left edge. Under UV light there is no evidence of any retouching. This work is in very good condition.
