The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the image does not convey the relief of the work.
This work was recanvassed.
Three hairline scuffs are visible near the lower edge in the lower right quadrant.
Few stabilized hairline cracks are visible in the red impasto.
Under UV light inspection, the background of the painting fluoresces in many areas. These repaintings are likely due to an artist retouching of his own work.
