turned slightly to her right, her face with parted lips and almond-shaped eyes, her centrally parted wavy hair brushed back behind the ears and falling in long curls down the sides of the neck; mounted on a 19th-century Carrara marble circular socle.

German family collection, acquired in the middle of the 19th century
by descent to Albert and Amelie Zapf, Heidelberg
