Chairs retain a dark rich surface.

Condition

Some nicks and scratches to edges and legs consistent with use and age. Front rails inscribed, V, VI, VII, XII, XIII, XVI, XX, and illegible. The chairs with XVI has the carving chipped from two of the toes on its proper left front paw foot.
