Condition
Pile ranges from near original 1/6 inch with areas of wear low to knotheads scattered throughout; repiled old moth damage, mostly along edges, now faded and moth damage visible on reverse. Selvages mostly intact with some minor fraying. Upper end with partial original flatwoven end finish; lower end with small losses into outer end guard border and some fraying; both ends with uneven fringes; recommend securing.
Dusty surface, should enhance with cleaning. Supple handle, lustrous wool, sound fabric and condition.
