Canvas is not lined. SURFACE: in good condition; a small loss at upper left (in water, about 2 in. above boy's head) UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: a few small spots of inpainting scattered across sky, a spot at upper right (right of Dad's hat) and a few small spots scattered across boat's hull; a horizontal area of fluorescence in water above boy's head (under and across island)--not sure if this is restoration or artist's addition.
