blued round barrel with fore-sight, top-strap stamped JAMES WARNER SPRINGFIELD MASS U.S.A, 6-shot cylinder decorated with a three-band freize of a wave and vertical stripe background, varnished rosewood grips, mahogany case partitioned and lined with green velvet, powder flask embossed with shell motif, brass bullet and ball mold, cap tin 100 / HICKS/ CAPS / G. D., and on bottom MFG'd BY / WATERBURY BRASS CO. / WATERBURY / CONN., Francis Reynolds yellow trade label affixed on bottom of case
