blued octagonal barrel with fore-sight, top-strap engraved PATENTED, APRIL 19, 1859, 6-shot cylinder, hand-checkered hammer spur, silver-plated trigger-guard and butt-cap, finely checkered walnut grips

7-1/4 inch barrel 



This revolver, of which fewer than 12 were made, is an example of the rare large caliber Rupertus revolvers produced circa 1859.
