N.Y., inspector's cartouche STB (stamped twice and each somewhat faintly) on left-side of stock, inspector stamp F.D.L. stamped on butt-stock comb near tang of butt-plate, brass barrel-band and butt-plate, color case-hardened breech, action, lock-plate, trigger-guard latch, and hammer, oil-finished walnut stock and fore-end
