Condition

Good condition for an object of this type and age. Old crack repaired with a metal plate and nails at top proper right side. Another in front of proper right ear with two old metal staples. Numerous holes from attachment of fibers for binding top element throughout top of head. Losses to edges of metal plate at mouth. Losses to feathers and some wooden sticks supporting the feather/fabric elements. The central bulb for attachment of these elements with various holes. Scattered dents, nicks, scratches, and wear throughout. Some beaded elements loose. Some small losses in beads. Dark brown patina with encrustation. Metal elements with oxidation. Attachments very fragile.
