on a base by the Japanese wood artist KichizĂ´ Inagaki (1876-1951), Paris, with his stamped signature on the reverse.

Condition

Good condition for an object of this type and age. Old abrasions to mouth, nose, and chin, now patinated over. Wear to rim on reverse. Minor marks, nicks, scratches, dents, and abrasions consistent with age and use. Exceptionally fine glossy dark brown patina. Attached to base with a screw and binding (loose). Inagaki base with some wear around edges.
