Condition

The first: Unexamined out of frame. The sheet does not appear laid down, but is at least partially adhered to a backing support. There are pin holes in all four corners. There is some minor staining apparent to the tips of the corners, but this excepting the work appears in excellent overall condition. Housed behind glass in a light wooden frame, float-mounted within a white box. Unexamined out of frame. The second: The sheet is not laid down, but is adhered to a backing card vid two hinge strips along the top edge. The sheet has been unevenly cut, with instances of very minor loss along the bottom edge, not visible in the present mount. There are a couple of minor creases to the top left hand side of the top edge, one of which may possibly be an old, repaired tear. These are not wholly visible in the present mount. Elsewhere there is minor surface staining and a few spots of light early foxing apparent, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Housed behind glass in a thick black frame, set within a cream card mount. Please contact the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present lot.
