Jean-Guillaume Moitte, ornemaniste et sculpteur, élève de Pigalle, a fourni de nombreux dessins d'orfèvrerie, en particulier à l'orfèvre Henri Auguste. On lui doit entre autres le fronton du Panthéon à Paris.
