Catalogue Note

“We might think of his work as a form of natural archeology, the rediscovery of materials and processes buried deep within the natural world. The shaping of a river stone, the growth of a great tree. It is an art of mutability. A continuum between man and nature. Universal materials. Flux.”

Ben Tufnell ‘To Touch, To Wait, To Grow, To Repeat’ in: Exhibition Catalogue, London, Haunch of Venison, 2011, p. 5
