Condition
The canvas is lined with a loose weave canvas. UV examination reveals some scattered retouchings in places, the most prominent of which is an approximately 12cm-long horizontal line to the lower edge of the upper left quadrant and an area to the blue/grey pigments of the wall in the lower right quadrant. There are some very fine lines of stable craquelure in places, most visible in the yellow and white pigments, but which are not visually distracting. This work is in overall good condition.
