Condition

Overall in very good original condition. This piece has been examined under blacklight and does not show evidence of any prior restoration. The vase with some very light surface scratches scattered throughout consistent with age and gentle handling. The textured ground of the earthenware is more visible in the background of the vase, creating great depth. Minor imperfections in the glaze are inherent in the making. The interior with some adhesive residue and traces of surface dirt consistent with age.
