Condition

Overall very good original condition. The sculpture presents with a deeply saturated patination throughout that adds great depth to the work. With minor surface soiling to the recessed portions of the design and rubbing to the patina at the high points of the design and areas of the figure’s face as seen in the catalogue illustration. The base is a nice complement to the sculpture with scattered edge chips to the immediate bottom edge consistent with gentle handling. The sculpture presents with great scale and detail when viewed in person.
