Condition
Overall in very good condition showing great variety of green and brown colors to the patinated surfaces throughout that enhanced the detailing of the sculpture. The bronze elements present with a few very shallow surface scratches and a few areas of rubbing to the high points of the design, which is expected from gentle handling. The gilt portions of the sculpture with a wonderful tone that is even more saturated in color than it appears in the catalogue illustration. The sculpture with elegant details in the highly naturalistic rendering of the figure, contrasts by the deeply sculpture background imparting a great sense of movement.
