Condition
Overall in very good condition. The wooden surfaces throughout appear to be over-coated with a secondary surface application. The later surface application with a few minor isolated circular abrasions to the top of the table, the largest measuring ¼ inch in diameter., which are only visible on close inspection. The wooden surfaces display small and minor surface scratches, minor edge abrasions, and some very minute discolorations consistent with age and gentle use. The fruitwood inlays and mother-of-pearl detailing is in excellent condition and adds great visual depth to the top of the table. One of the seam along the immediate edge of the top with a small area of prior restoration that is presently slightly darker in appearance. This table presents beautifully in person with a wonderfully sculptural base complementing the intricately detailed floral and dragonfly motif of the top.
