Condition

Overall in very good condition. With some minute scattered discolorations to the background of the work. The area immediately adjacent to the top left portion of the title with an area of concentrated discoloration extending approximately 5 inches in length as seen in the catalogue illustration. The work has been mounted on a high quality canvas backing for stability, measuring 47 ¾ x 37 ¼ inches overall. There are a few areas of scattered localized wear to the immediate edges that have been stabilized. The lower edge with one area showing a stabilized tear immediately below the "THEATRE" script, measuring less than ¼ inch; this appears stable and only visible upon very close inspection. The top right corner of the image with one area of circular discoloration and an adjacent stabilized tear, which is only visible upon very close inspection. In a modern gilt wood frame. The coloration of the print presents with subtle earth tones with beautiful detailing in the floral elements of the design.
