Condition

Overall in very good condition. With some minute scattered discolorations to the background of each print, that are visible in the present framing. Each work with some very light edge wear, which is not visible in the present framing and is consistent with age and gentle handling. With some very minute surface scratches to the outer portions of each image, measuring less than ΒΌ inch in length, which do not detract from the works. The images present with very minor fading and retain vivid coloration across all four works. Two of the works with extremely light surface impressions to the paper from the original plate used to print the image, visible along the edge of the borders. Each in a modern frame. A wonderful series of allegorical prints executed with vivid coloration and a dynamic, curvilinear composition.
