Condition

Overall in very good condition. With some minute scattered discolorations and very light foxing to the background of work, that are visible in the present framing. The images present with some very minor fading across the series, with three images particularly showing reduced saturation of color due to sun fading. The reverse of each print displays an additional pattern design executed en grisaille that show very minor scattered discolorations and very light fading due to the framing. The cover image shows a few later pencil marks and a stamp mark 227699 to the top right corner, which is visible in the catalogue illustration. A selection of the prints with gold leaf decoration show some very light rubbing to the gilt surfaces consistent with age. Each work in a modern frame. A wonderful example of the artist's pattern designs showing beautiful coloration and rhythmic designs.
