Condition

Overall very good condition. The wooden frame with some minor edge chips, nicks, surface scratches and rubbing to finish which is consistent with gentle use. As seen in the catalogue illustration, there is minor areas of rubbing to the finish to the top surfaces of the arms, consistent with use. The bench appears to have a later finish which was sensitively applied at some point in the piece's history. The leather upholstery and leather covered tacks appear later and are well executed. The leather shows minor use with a few gentle surface scratches and some minute discolorations. The brass feet with minor discoloration consistent with the natural aging process of the material. A rare model to appear at auction.
