Condition

Overall in very good condition. The case with very light surface scratches, light tarnishing and minor rubbing, consistent with age and gentle handling. The recessed contours of the design with evidence of very light polish residue. With one minute ding to the proper right top corner of the case. The upper portion of the proper left side of the case with a minor ding. The central portion of the door to the reverse with a concave ding immediately adjacent to the latch. The minute hand of the clockworks with very minor localized discoloration, consistent with the natural aging process of the material. The ringed frame surrounding the clock's face is slightly loose, but remains stable. The clock is presently lacking its bezel and glass, which would cover and stabilize the movement. The movement is therefore very slightly displayed off center as seen in the catalogue illustration. A wonderful small scale example of the artist's work with inlaid turquoise stones that complement the jewel-tone enamel work of the case.
