Condition

Overall fair original condition. This offering is comprised of four elevator grill elements that show consistent condition and wear. The surface throughout the grilles with loses to the finish, areas of corrosion and oxidation and considerable surface soiling. There are two panels that present with more concentrated areas of oxidation that are visible in the catalogue illustration and appear in yellower tone. The grilles are stable, but would benefit from a sensitive cleaning. Three of the panels with a slight bend to the lower third of the work which is subtle. This lot is being offered without hanging hardware. Each of the grilles present with a wonderful detailed motif to the cast iron that is even more intricate when viewed in person.
