Condition

Overall in excellent condition. The bowls, one by Edward and one by his son Philip, each display the signature expertise of their woodworking styles. Turned with tools of their own making, each displays superb scale and presence. The woods selected for these two works are show wonderful color through the figuring and a deeply complex surface. With a few minute surface scratches to them bowls which are only visible upon close inspection. A wonderful example of each of these master craftsmen’s designs.
