Overall in good original condition. The case element with a few surface scratches and edge losses to the lacquered surface consistent with age and gentle use, which are visible in the catalogue illustration. The plastic drawer fronts are in very good original condition and with minor surface scratches and few minute abrasions. The interior of the proper left compartment appears to have been fitted for shelves, which are presently lacking. The right compartment is divided with one half fitted for with three fixed shelves and the other side with a shelf to the top portion and two shelves fitted for bottles below. All of the elements to the interior appear original and undisturbed. The lacquered metal feet of the sculpture with some rubbing, edges losses and surface scratches consistent with age and use. The central leg is presently detached at the front of the case and would benefit from stabilization. Once placed, the piece is currently stable. A wonderful iconic design by Loewy in original condition. The drawer fronts are more vibrant in color than they present in the catalogue illustration.
