Condition

Overall in very good condition. The design of the work includes a central counterweight element that allows the arms to be varied and adjusted. Because of the counterweight design once the angle desired is achieved, the position is held in place. The brass with minor surface oxidation consistent with age and very gentle use. The shades present with a brilliant hue and deeply saturated coloration of vivid red and brilliant yellow. A wonderful dynamic design with a deeply sculptural presence when viewed in person. The lamp appears to retain all its original elements, including the ceiling cap.
