Condition
Overall in very good original condition. The wrought iron standard and metal shelf with evidence of rubbing to the finish, scattered spots of oxidation throughout, surface scratches and scattered minor losses to the lacquered finish which reveal the red under layer dispersed throughout the metal work of this piece. The work remains in original condition and the current condition of the metal surfaces are consistent with use and age. The glazed ceramic ashtray presents with a deeply sculptural and organic shape with wonderful scale. The coloration of the ceramic ashtray is more saturated that it appears in the catalogue illustration. A rare variant of the model to appear on the auction market.
