Description

  • S. Holm Sorensen
  • Pair of Floor Lamps
  • lacquered metal, brass and copper

Condition

Overall in very good condition. The copper shades with some minor localized discolorations, surface scratches, and light rubbing to the patina. One lamp shade is subtly out of round with a minor dent to the rim, measuring approximately 1 ½ inches in length, which is not apparent when the lamp is righted. The standards and brass elements with light rubbing and localized discolorations consistent with age and gentle handling. One lamp is lacking its cord bushing. Both lamps are electrically stable and presently fitted with a European standard plug. A rare early design by the artist to appear on the US market.
