Condition
The canvas has not been lined. The overall appearance of the work is very good. Ultra-violet light reveals areas of uneven fluorescence which could be associated with old residual varnish resulting from some cleaning, possibly in the sky, and some strokes of retouching notably to the upper right corner and other scattered spots throughout. The work is otherwise in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
