Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There is a pattern of hairline craquelure on the painted surface, somewhat raised in certain areas and with associated paint flaking notably in the lower half of the composition. Ultra-violet light reveals scattered spots of cosmetic retouching and some fluorescence in the signature, which might have been strengthened. The work is in otherwise good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a dark frame.
