Condition
The artist's large panel is flat and even. There is a small crack (circa 2cm) in the tree in the lower right edge. Ultra-violet light reveals a few minor spots of retouching towards the centre of the upper edge. As visible in the catalogue illustration there is also a small pale area in the sky to the left of the upper edge and some strokes towards the top of the right framing edge which may correspond to minor old discoloured retouchings, however these are marginal and not particularly distracting. This work is in good condition, and otherwise ready to hang.
Presented in an elaborate gilt frame with a nameplate.
