Condition

The canvas has not been lined. There is a very small tear towards the centre right edge of the canvas, which does not affect the composition and could easily be repaired. Ultra-violet light reveals minor signs of retouching, notably along the upper framing edge and in the sky above the two horse in the background. The picture is in otherwise good condition and ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
