Condition
The canvas has been laid on masonite board. Ultra-violet light reveals light strokes of retouching, primarily through the sky and in the grey pigments of the paving, which predominantly appear to correspond to strengthening. This work is otherwise in good overall condition and ready to hang, and presents very well under normal light.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
