Condition
The canvas has not been lined. Under ultraviolet light the old varnish layers fluoresce evenly and quite opaquely, making the surface difficult to read under U.V.; there appear to be notably a few minor strokes of retouching in the tree to the left, and a handful of scattered minor strokes of green fluoresce in the sky in the composition's upper-left quadrant which probably correspond to minor retouchings. This painting is in good overall condition, and its appearance could be further enhanced if desired with a surface clean.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame, with a nameplate.
