Condition

The sheet has a small old tear at the upper framing edge in the centre and has been laid onto panel which is flat and even, with three vertical cradle bars on the reverse. Ultra-violet light reveals a handful of minor scattered strokes of retouching, apart form which the work is in good overall condition. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a cream-painted inner slip.
