Condition
Original canvas. There are a couple of scattered small spots of paint flaking, notably one in the wall between the door and woman to the left, and one on the table top, and a light vertical scuff above the right-hand woman's head and in the background. Under ultra-violet light the old varnish layers fluoresce somewhat opaquely however apart from a small possible spot to rightmost woman's hair there do not appear to be any notable signs of retouching. This work is in good overall condition, and would benefit from a light surface clean and retouching to the minor spots of paint flaking mentioned above.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
