Condition
The canvas has not been lined, and ultraviolet light reveals no visible signs of retouching. There are a few minor scattered thin lines of craquelure notably in the background to the left of the figure's profile. This painting is in very good original condition, and is ready to hang although its appearance could likely be further enhanced if desired with a light surface clean.
Presented in a decorative gilt rococo-style frame.
