Condition
The canvas has not been lined. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals an even and quite opaque varnish, with no visible signs of retouching. This painting is in very good original condition, and although it may benefit from a light surface clean, it is otherwise ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame, with a silver-painted inner slip and a nameplate.
