Condition

The artist's board is flat and even. Apart from some scattered minor, faint spotting in the board, slight browning along the extreme framing edges (not visible framed), and a few scattered small spots of restoration notably in the lower right quadrant and to the upper-left of the figure's right shoulder, this work is in good condition, and ready to hang. Presented in a simple frame, under glass.

Catalogue Note

Executed circa 1908, the present work relates to a work by von Stuck of 1909 depicting Mary flanked by her mother and the artist, now in the Musées Royaux des Beaux-Arts, Brussels.
