Condition

Overall in good and fair condition consistent with age. This sculpture is finely carved and detailed and still bears its original surface. This sculpture like many others has not be acid washed for cleaning and as a result still has its original “skin”. Minor chips to edges of circular base and pedestal, the pinky finger of the right hand has been once broken and re-attached, now showing the hairline fracture. Each butterfly is missing a wing.
