Unlined. Two areas of patched repairs left of the reverse. Stretcher bar marks faintly visible and finely patterned craquelure visible throughout composition along with minor scuffs of frame abrasion at lower right. Under UV: 10 inch horizontal area of inpainting through grapes and wine cistern, and area in rim of tray at lower left which correspond to aforementioned patches. Finely patterned inpainting to address craquelure at center of composition. Isolated spots of inpaint to baby's leg and at lower right. Old varnish fluoresces green and unevenly.
