surmounted by a brèche brocatelle violette d'Espagne marble top, the cabinet opening to one drawer, the spring released frieze drawer with hinged front opening to a green baize writing surface
Condition
Overall in good and fair condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Tarnishing, dirt and wear to gilt bronze in places. The marble with the usual minor chips to edges, scratches to surface consistent with age and use.
Restored crack to proper left hand side of marble stretcher. Horizontal wear to lacquer of proper left door. One brass molding to proper right hand side door detached, but available in a bag. Shelf present but lacking its wooden side supports.
