Condition

Overall in good condition. Frame mostly likely later. Traces of dirt visible in between tesserae in areas of sky, spots in piazza. Visible hairline crack with slight lifting of tessarae to edge of piazza's left side. Uneven area of tessarae to proper right side of cathedral. Visible restoration to tessarae at uneven location. Overall with the usual minor scratches to black marble, no replacement to malachite.
