Overall in good condition and presentation with the usual light tarnishing to bronze and visible wear to top of male cast handles heads

Alfred Beurdeley also reproduced this model which is itself a recreation of a celebrated Royal model. A single example by him in alabaster was sold at Palais D'Orsay, Collections Beurdeley, Exceptionnel Ensemble de Meubles et Objects d'Art du XIXième Siècle, May 16, 1979, lot 48 (illustrated) and was exhibited in his stand at the 1889 Paris Universal Exhibition.
