Condition
Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Light tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places with mounts recently cleaned. Minor scratches to marble top consistent with placing objects.

Catalogue Note
The present center table in the taste of the celebrated 18th century cabinet maker Adam Weisweiler featuring male and female herms heading each support is joint by looped stretcher drawn directly from a design by Weisweiler. the frieze is cleverly mounted with finely cast mounts of allegory of the four seasons.
