painted around the body in the Renaissance style with panels decorated with putti in various landscapes, Berainesque motifs or a large chateau in a landscape, affixed with satyr's mask handles, cockerel marks in black or red.
Condition
One has an approximate 3-inch long haircrack running from the mouth of one of the grotesque handles up and towards the interior of the bowl. The same bowl has restoration to a small area on one of the fish heads on its base, possibly covering a chip or a haircrack. The other bowl is in good condition.
